The Hall (2016)
As part of Dumbo Burlesque, I booked, produced and designed/operated circus/burlesque variety shows (Wildcat Cabaret, Burlesque Below The Bridges) in several venues throughout Brooklyn & Manhattan.
For some of these venues (Big Sky Works, The Bridges), I also installed the sound and/or stage lighting.
Below are photos taken at Bridges in DUMBO. Featured artists include Gigi Bonbon, The Painted Ladies, The Maine Attraction, Francis Stallings, Marcela Corbellini Duarte and Medianoche.

Floating Kabarette
Galapagos Art Space (2008 — 2014)
Floating Kabarette was one of the many shows I co-produced/directed, booked and operated while I was managing director of Galapagos Art Space. It featured burlesque artists, aerialists, jugglers, magicians, clowns, ‘other kinds of acts’ and occasionally musical guests as well. It presented a unique experience in NYC nightlife both for the environment (Galapagos’s main floor was a series of gangway “islands'“ over a 3000 gallon reflecting pool), and for the level of service and experience we provided while maintaining comparatively accessible prices for a high quality night out.
The show ran every Saturday for 10 years and was never the same twice. We kept a roster of over 150 local and touring variety artists and carefully structured each show to have an arc that carried through multiple acts and intermissions. During my last 2 years of directing the show we succeeded in nearly 100% sold out houses and a momentum that carried into our other shows after Galapagos closed.
Artists featured below are Cassandra Rosebeetle, The Painted Ladies, Kyle Driggs, Marcela Corbellini Duarte, Jen Kovacs, Ben Franklin, and Miss Ekaterina.
